Accreditation

NAEYC program accreditation is recognized as a mark of excellence in early childhood programming nation-wide.  Through NAEYC's continuing efforts to improve the quality of early childhood education, the accreditation process allows programs to meet high national standards of quality in the learning experiences they provide for young children and their educators

If you are:
  • considering or in the process of pursuing NAEYC accreditation or
  • an administrator of a currently-accredited program
you are encouraged to contact our Accreditation Chairperson (_____________) for more information on how the Upper Peninsula AEYC can answer your questions and support your efforts.

Michigan currently has 125 NAEYC-accredited programs serving a total of 12,800 children.
