About

The Upper Peninsula Association for the Education of Young Children (UPAEYC) is an affiliate organization of the Michigan Association for the Education of Young Children (MIAEYC) and the National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC).  The purpose of this organization is to act on the behalf of the needs, rights and well-being of all young children through early childhood services and resources.
Specifically, this organization shall:

• Promote and maintain high standards for the care and education of young children
• Advocate and act on the behalf of young children and their families
• Encourage continuing study of the development of young children and issues related to early childhood education
• Cooperate with other organizations and disciplines which promote the welfare of young children and their families
• Provide support and services to our members
